This is a plea for reasonable regulations on a national and state level. The fact that people are saying that James Holmes would have found a way to commit mass murder with or without guns is beside the issue. If Colorado had stricter gun laws, it would have made it more difficult for Holmes to acquire the veritable arsenal he used to kill 12 innocent people and injure dozens more during the horrifying Aurora shooting.
